Dr. Strever

Dr. Strever grew up just outside Atlanta, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia. He earned his DMD from the Medical College of Georgia, and subsequently his Masters and Certificate in Periodontics from the same institution. He is also Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery

Dr. Strever is licensed as a dentist in both Georgia and Tennessee, and maintains specialty licenses in Periodontics and Conscious Sedation in Tennessee. Dr. Strever’s areas of expertise include dental implants, sedation dentistry, esthetic/cosmetic dentistry, gum grafting, bone grafting, laser treatments, and treatment of periodontal disease. He has published research articles and case reports in journals such as the Journal of Periodontology, and continues his contributions to academia while in private practice.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Strever enjoys exploring the wilderness of Chattanooga through hiking, hunting, kayaking and water sports with his girlfriend, Shawn, and their dog, Darwin. He also enjoys brewing craft beer and staying involved in the community through dental volunteering activities.
